Big Winners on Classic Pools

 

MG Wallace from Coventry won £53,498 on The New Football Pools Classic Pools game in June 2008.

He said, "This win couldn't have come at a better time. My daughter's getting married out in Cuba and until this win, we were unable to go. Now my wife and I, along with our son can fly out and see her big day."

Ooh we love a good heartwarming story!

 

D Mason from Tyne and Wear also won £53,498 in the same week again on the Classic Pools game.

He said, "I'm flabbergasted! I've never won anything in my life! I will have to let this sink in but I think I'll be using this money to pay off my mortgage!"

 

E Sohna from London is no stranger to winning. Back in 1993, he won £18,000 but 15 years on, he's spent it all. We think it'll take him a little longer to spend his latest win though - all £68,653 of it!

He said, "I'm going to use the money to go and visit some of my family out in Gambia - flying first class I think! I haven't seen them for so long. God bless The New Football Pools!"

CM Elsden from Chester won £35,128 at the end of June 2008

She said, "How do I describe my win on Classic Pools? Fantastic - that's how! I've played with the same numbers for quite some time now, so I'm glad I didn't change them. I can't believe I've got a cheque for £35,000 AND it's got my name on it!"

 

Mrs Jackson from Preston didn't have to wait long for her first BIG win on The New Football Pools Classic Pools game. The Celtic supporter has only been playing for a few years and has now won £64,429.

She said, "I keep waiting for someone to say it's April Fools Day! I follow Celtic because we haven't got a very good football team here in Preston but maybe I'll buy part of the club with my winnings! I think I better give my Pools collector a nice, little bonus too!"
